Oaks Amusement Park is the place where fun never ends! Portland, Oregon has so much to offer, and this attraction may provide you with the best day ever. Located at 98 SW Naito Parkway, this amusement park has a detailed history.
Since 1905, Oaks Park has been "where the fun never stops" and is one of the country's first amusement parks to survive more than a century. As a method of increasing ridership on the region's developing interurban transportation network, the park was established on May 30, 1905, as The Oaks. The park's popularity exploded when it opened in 1902, with visitors flocking to see exotic creatures, spectacular fireworks displays, a bathhouse, death-defying roller coasters, and that latest of technologies, electric lights! For more than a century, Oaks Park has provided decent family fun to its neighbors. Today, guests are delighted by a unique Portland mix of modern thrills and turn-of-the-century elegance on our midway that has delighted generations of Northwesterners.
In 1985, the Bollinger family donated Oaks Amusement Park to the non-profit Oaks Park Association, which continues to manage the park today. The OPA's mission is to protect and keep this part of Portland's history alive so that future generations may enjoy it.
In the spring, summer, and fall, the attractions include bumper cars, miniature golf, and midway games. Roller skating is available all year round, too! The park also offers 14 beautiful and well-equipped outdoor event areas perfect for company parties, family reunions, graduation celebrations, birthday parties, and community events.
Tickets/bracelets are limited; get yours early to avoid disappointment! Weddings, fundraisers, holiday parties, quinceaƱeras, and a slew of other events are all held at the Historic Dance Pavilion's indoor event space. One of the most flexible and cost-effective large-capacity places in the area!
Enjoy exclusive access to the spectacular Chipper's Woods Miniature Golf Course with beautiful waterfront views, a lush setting, and a fun and challenging 18-hole experience.
All of the roller rinks are available to rent alone, just like Oaks Park Roller Rink. It's the perfect excuse to get out and enjoy some fresh air after a long winter. There isn't a better way to spend an afternoon than with all of your friends at Oaks Park Roller Rink! You may reserve private rentals online if you like!
Open Skate Sessions take place on Saturdays and Sundays, so birthday party packages are only available during those times. The maximum number of guests is 12. Advance reservations are necessary for party packages. For the kids, Oaks Amusement Park provides sweets, snacks, and drinks to enjoy.
